An Autumn Prayer - August 22, 2002

Lord, I thank you for the gifts
of moon and stars and tide.
I thank you for the blessings
of my family and my bride.

And as the sun is setting
on the first light hints of Fall,
it's life cycling through its seasons
for which I thank you most of all.
